Jason Williams (born November 17, 1983) is an American professional basketball player. A 1.98 m (6'6") Forward (basketball), forward, Williams last played for Chorale Roanne Basket of the LNB Pro B and has been a free agent since 2019. He formerly appeared at the Euroleague with the European powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C., Maccabi Tel Aviv. College career Williams played college basketball at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He helped the UTEP Miners men's basketball, Miners to three straight postseason appearances and 72 wins during his three-year career at UTEP. He finished his career with 1,225 points, 614 rebounds and 300 assists. Stefon Jackson (born May 7, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. He is 6'5" tall and played shooting guard. While playing college basketball at UTEP between 2005 and 2009, Jackson scored a Conference USA-record 2,456 points (since broken by Marshall's Jon Elmore). High school Jackson is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He played at Martin Luther King High School for two years and was a first team all-Philadelphia Public League selection in 2002–03. NIT Tournament
The National Invitational Tournament (NIT) is a men's college basketball tournament operated by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Played at regional sites and traditionally at Madison Square Garden (Final Four) in New York City each March and April, it was founded in 1938 and was originally the most prestigious post-season showcase for college basketball. The 2021 tournament, in which all games were played in Denton and Frisco, Texas, marked the first time that the NIT's semifinals and championship games were not hosted at Madison Square Garden; MSG won't play host to the games entirely starting in 2023. In basketball, a double-double is a single-game performance in which a player accumulates ten or more in two of the following five statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots. The first "double" in the term refers to the two (''double'') categories and the second "double" refers to accumulating ten or more (typically ''double'' digits) in that category. Western Athletic Conference
The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) is an NCAA Division I conference. The WAC covers a broad expanse of the western United States with member institutions located in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Utah, Washington (state), Washington, and Texas. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football.
