Jason Trifiro
Jason Trifiro (born 3 June 1988) is a former Australian football (soccer) player. Career Trifiro started his career in the semi-professional lower leagues in Australia, playing in New South Wales for National Premier Leagues NSW clubs Marconi Stallions, APIA Leichhardt and the South Coast Wolves. In 2011, he moved to Victoria where he played the 2011 Victorian Premier League with Northcote alongside his brother, before they both moved to ex- NSL heavyweight South Melbourne in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. In 2012 Trifiro was signed as one of the inaugural players for Western Sydney Wanderers. In 2014, he signed a one-year extension with the club. Following the 2014–15 A-League, Trifiro was one of a swathe of players released from the Wanderers, following a poor season in which the club narrowly avoided the wooden spoon, finishing 9th. The National Premier Leagues NSW is a semi-professional soccer competition in New South Wales, Australia. The competition is conducted by Football NSW, the organising body in New South Wales (the other being the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW organised by Northern NSW Football). Glen Trifiro
Glen Joseph Trifiro (born 10 July 1987) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Sydney United 58 in the National Premier Leagues. Career After playing for several years with various state league clubs in NSW and Victoria, Trifiro signed on loan from Sydney United with the Central Coast Mariners in the A-League during the January Transfer Window. Following impressive performances, he was handed a one-year contract to play on with the club into the next season. Trifiro became the first ever FFA Cup goalscorer for the Mariners in August 2014, scoring the only goal of the round of 32 game against South Coast Wolves. Trifiro was released by the Mariners on 1 March 2016. The 2014–15 A-League was the 38th season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the 10th season of the A-League since its establishment in 2004. Brisbane Roar were both the defending A-League Premiers and Champions. The regular season commenced on 10 October 2014 and concluded on 26 April 2015. The 2015 Grand Final took place on 17 May 2015. The season was suspended from 9–24 January in order to avoid a clash with the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, which was hosted by Australia. National Soccer League
The National Soccer League (NSL) was the top-level soccer league in Australia, run by Soccer Australia and later the Australian Soccer Association. 2011 Victorian Premier League
The 2011 Victorian Premier League (known as the Alanic Premier League for sponsorship reasons) was the ninety-ninth season of the Victorian Premier League since the first season in 1909. The home and away season began 15 February 2011 and concluded 7 August 2011. Green Gully were the defending champions. The concept of a youth development squad was reintroduced in 2010 with the National Training Centre team playing in midweek fixtures throughout the season but not for competition points. In 2011 the team, mostly comprising players from the Melbourne Victory youth squad, was renamed Victorian Training Centre Football and was eligible to score competition points for its matches but ineligible to qualify for the finals series or be relegated.
