Jason McLaughlin
Jason McLaughlin (born April 14, 1982 in Provo, Utah) is an American soccer player who last played for Portland Timbers U23s in the USL Premier Development League. Career College and amateur McLaughlin grew up in Wetumpka, Alabama, and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, playing on the men's soccer team from 2000 to 2005, scoring 15 goals and assisted on 13 others during his career. McLaughlin captained the Blazers his junior season and led them to a third-place finish the Conference USA tournament. He led the team in scoring his senior season with five goals and eight assists and received numerous accolades for his performance, including a NSCAA All-South Region third-team selection and All-C-USA second-team honors. During his college years McLaughlin also played one season with the Augusta Fireball of the USL Premier Development League. USL First Division
The USL First Division (usually referred to as USL-1) was a professional men's soccer league in the United States and Canada from 2005 to 2010. During its existence, it formed the second tier of soccer in the United States soccer league system behind Major League Soccer. It was operated by United Soccer Leagues (USL) and was known as the A-League, from 1997 until 2004. Several teams left the league in 2009 to form the new North American Soccer League, with the intent of running their own second-tier league. The 2009 season is the 23rd season played by the United Soccer Leagues. Season titles will be contested by 20 professional men's clubs in the USL First Division and USL Second Division, as well as 37 professional and amateur women's clubs in the W-League and 68 professional and amateur men's teams in the USL Premier Development League. The First Division season kicked off on April 11 with the US Open Cup finalist Charleston Battery and host defending champions Vancouver Whitecaps FC playing to a scoreless tie, while the Carolina RailHawks defeated the visiting Minnesota Thunder 2–1. The season ended on September 20 with the Charleston Battery defeating hosts Minnesota Thunder 3–2. As a change for this season, the Finals will follow the rest of the playoffs in being two legs. Spokane Spiders were an American soccer team based in Spokane, Washington, United States. Founded in 2006, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. The franchise folded at the end of the 2010 season and left the league thereafter. The team played its home games at Joe Albi Stadium. The team's colors were red, black and white. Sita-Taty Matondo (born December 28, 1984, in Kinshasa, Zaire) is a Congolese-born Canadian former soccer player who played the majority of his career in Quebec with clubs in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec, USL A-League/First Division, and Canadian Soccer League. He also played abroad in the Superettan, and represented Canada at the international level. Career Matondo began his career with Panellinios in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec, where he received the Defender of the Year award, and the Fair-Play award in 1999. In 2003, he signed for the Montreal Impact of the USL A-League. He scored his first goal against Calgary Storm on June 1, 2003, in a 4–0 win.
