Jason Marshall (baseball)
Jason David Marshall in an American college baseball coach and former shortstop. Marshall played college baseball at Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1992 for coach Mark Johnson. He was then drafted in the 13th round by the Kansas City Royals, where he played in their organization from 1992 to 1995. Marshall was the head baseball coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio from 2013 to 2019. Playing career Marshall played at Texas A&M as a shortstop from 1989 through 1992. In his senior season, he was named Aggies Most Valuable Player after leading the team in hits, runs, RBI, and games played. He was drafted in the 13th round of the 1992 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals and played four seasons in the Royals system. Coaching career After ending his playing career, Marshall served as an assistant at Texas A&M for two seasons. Texas A&M Aggies Baseball
The Texas A&M Aggie baseball team represents Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The Aggies have competed in the Southeastern Conference since 2013. The Aggies play home games at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The team is led by head coach Jim Schlossnagle. History Texas A&M baseball has compiled an all-time record of 2550-1427-42 (.634 winning percentage) through the 2014 season. Western Athletic Conference
The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) is an NCAA Division I conference. The WAC covers a broad expanse of the western United States with member institutions located in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Utah, Washington (state), Washington, and Texas. Due to most of the conference's College football, football-playing members leaving the WAC for other affiliations, the conference discontinued football as a sponsored sport after the 2012–13 season and left the NCAA's NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly known as Division I-A).
