Jason Michael Johnson (born October 27, 1973) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He throws and bats right-handed. Career Johnson graduated from Conner High School in Hebron, Kentucky. He did not enter college, but was signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates as an undrafted free agent in . He made his major league debut with the Pirates in 1997, appearing in only 3 games. Following the season, he was among the players selected in the draft by the newly created franchise, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. In his lone season in Tampa Bay, Johnson went 2-5 in 13 starts. From 1999 to 2003, Johnson was with the Baltimore Orioles, 2001 being his best season of his career, going 10-12 with a career low 4.09 ERA. In , he received the Tony Conigliaro Award. Jason Johnson (born 25 January 1978) is a retired Australian rules footballer who spent his entire professional career with Essendon of the Australian Football League (AFL). Known as a tireless running midfielder, Johnson's career honours include All-Australian selection in 2001, the same year he won the W.S. Crichton Medal for Essendon's best and fairest player. In the same year, he was considered to be the best on ground in the famous Round 16 game between Essendon and North Melbourne in which Essendon came back from 69 points, a record comeback in VFL/AFL which remains to this day. Jason Johnson (born December 7, 1979) is a former professional American football quarterback who played three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and also two seasons in Europe Austrian Football League and Italian Football League. Johnson played college football at the University of Arizona and attended Rogers High School in Puyallup, Washington. While at Arizona, he earned two all conference honors and he would break many school records including most passing yards in a game.
