Jason Holstrom
Jason Holstrom (born August 3, 1976) is a Seattle-based musician and member of Seattle bands United State of Electronica (U.S.E.) and Wonderful. His solo projects include The Thieves of Kailua, Tonight Sky and Sunstrom Sound Solar Cycle, a series of ambient albums following the Earth's seasonal path around the Sun. In 2012 he created music for the This American Life Live show, including the score for the Mike Birbiglia short film ''Fresh Air 2: 2 Fresh 2 Furious''. United State Of Electronica
United State of Electronica, or U.S.E., is an American music group formed in 2002 based in Seattle, Washington. It includes the four members of the band Wonderful (band), Wonderful: Jason Holstrom (guitar, vocals), Jon e. Rock (Drum kit, drums, Singing, vocals), Peter Sali (guitar, vocals), and Noah Star Weaver (keyboards, vocoder), as well as Derek Chan (bass guitar), Carly Nicklaus (vocals), and Amanda Khanjian (vocals). History U.S.E. was formed when the members of Wonderful and Shane Tutmarc posed as an imaginary electronica band from Mannheim, Germany at a Seattle-area nightclub. When the group noticed the audience's enthusiasm about their improvised dance songs, they decided to form a side project that would take dance music more seriously. Carly Nicklaus, Amanda Okonek and Derek Chan joined the members of Wonderful to develop that project, which would become the United State of Electronica. ''Times-Standard'' Ottum recorded ''Like The Season'' between October 2005 and June 2006 it was released in the fall of 2006 in Europe by Tapete Records, along with an EP, ''Who Left The Lights On?''. Shane Tutmarc
Shane Tutmarc (born September 25, 1981) is an American producer, songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Career Tutmarc is the great-grandson of Paul Tutmarc, who has been credited as the inventor of the electric bass. His grandfather, Bud Tutmarc, was a well-known Hawaiian steel guitar player. Tutmarc was the leader of Seattle band Dolour from 1997 to 2007. He has played in several other bands, including United State of Electronica and Shane Tutmarc & The Traveling Mercies. In June 2009, Tutmarc released his first solo album, ''Shouting at a Silent Sky''. In January 2010, he re-located to Nashville, Tennessee.
