Jason Goode
Jason Goode (born September 13, 1986) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. Goode has previously spent time with the Washington Redskins and the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He played college football at Maryland. On August 16, 2008 in a pre-season matchup with the New York Jets he scored the winning touchdown that gave the Redskins a 13-10 win and a 3-0 pre-season record. College career Goode spent his time at Maryland behind Joey Haynos and Dan Gronkowski on the depth chart. Professional career Washington Redskins Goode signed with the Washington Redskins in 2008 after unselected in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was released on August 26, 2008. The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. As of 2022 season, the league consists of 14 teams in two conferences with each team playing 16 games over 19 weeks. IFL players earn US$250–500 per game played, with a $25 bonus given to players on the winning team each week. Additionally, the teams provide housing for its players during the season. The 2008 NFL Draft was the 73rd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. The draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York, on April 26 and April 27, 2008. For the 29th consecutive year, ESPN televised the draft; the NFL Network also broadcast the event, its third year doing so. Of the 252 selections, 220 were regular selections in rounds one through seven, and 32 were compensatory selections, distributed among rounds three through seven. As of the end of the 2018 season, 27 players have been selected to the Pro Bowl. For the first time since the common draft began, no wide receiver was selected in the first round. Dan Gronkowski
Daniel Thomas Gronkowski (born January 21, 1985) is an American former football tight end. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft, after playing college football at Maryland. He also played for the Denver Broncos (2010), New England Patriots (2011) and Cleveland Browns (2011–2012). Early years Gronkowski was born in Amherst, New York to parents Gordon, and Diane Walters. His four brothers – Gordie, Chris, Rob, and Glenn – all played collegiate sports, and later played professionally. His great-grandfather, Ignatius, was a member of the 1924 U.S. Olympic cycling team in Paris. Joey Haynos (born August 28, 1984) is a former American football tight end. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Maryland. He has also been a member of the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans.
