Jason Floros
Jason Scott Floros (born 24 November 1990) is an Australian former professional cricketer who played for Queensland and for the Brisbane Heat. Early career Floros represented the Australian Capital Territory Under-17 and Under-19 cricket teams, and also attended the Australian Institute of Sport. He played in one Test and 12 ODIs for the Australia Under-19 cricket team in the 2008–09 and 2009–10 seasons. Queensland career Floros moved from the ACT to Queensland for the 2009–10 season, representing the Queensland Under-19s and Under-23s in the Futures League. He made his List A debut for Queensland against Tasmania in October 2010, scoring six runs on debut batting at number 4. Woden Valley
The District of Woden Valley () is one of the original eighteen districts of the Australian Capital Territory used in land administration. The district is subdivided into divisions ( suburbs), sections and blocks. The district of Woden Valley lies entirely within the bounds of the city of Canberra, the capital city of Australia. The name of Woden Valley is taken from the name of a nearby homestead owned by Dr James Murray who named the homestead in October 1837 after the Old English god of wisdom, Woden. He named it this as he was to spend his life in the pursuit of wisdom. However, historian Dr Harold Koch considers that the name may have its origins in the Aboriginal word for possum, either ''wadyan'' or ''wadhan'', influenced in interpretation by the term known to English speakers of 'Woden'. In cricket, the batting order is the sequence in which batters play through their team's innings, there always being two batters taking part at any one time. All eleven players in a team are required to bat if the innings is completed (i.e., if the innings does not close early due to a declaration or other factor). The Big Bash League (known as the KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, often abbreviated to BBL or Big Bash) is an Australian professional club Twenty20 cricket league, which was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia. The Big Bash League replaced the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and features eight city-based franchises instead of the six state teams which had participated previously. Adelaide Oval is a sports ground in Adelaide, South Australia, located in the parklands between the city centre and North Adelaide.
