Jason Fitzsimmons
Jason Fitzsimmons (born June 3, 1971) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender, who played six seasons in the ECHL and AHL, most notably for the South Carolina Stingrays. He is currently a professional scout for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League. Playing career Drafted from the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League in the 11th round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks, Fitzsimmons made his professional debut with the Hamilton Canucks of the American Hockey League in the 1992-93 season. He also appeared in the AHL with the Cape Breton Oilers, Syracuse Crunch and Rochester Americans. Fitzsimmons suited up with the Columbus Chill, but found most of his professional success as a goaltender with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL. Goaltender
In ice hockey, the goaltender (commonly referred to as the goalie) is the player responsible for preventing the hockey puck from entering their team's net, thus preventing the opposing team from scoring. The goaltender mostly plays in or near the area in front of the net called the ''Ice hockey rink#Crease, goal crease'' (often referred to simply as '' the crease''). Moose Jaw Warriors
The Moose Jaw Warriors are a major junior ice hockey team in the Western Hockey League based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Warriors play in the East Division of the Eastern Conference. The team plays its home games at Moose Jaw Events Centre. History The franchise was established as the Winnipeg Warriors, prior to the start of the 1980-81 season and played out of Winnipeg Arena, where they shared with the Winnipeg Jets. Rick Adduono
Richard Norman Adduono (born January 25, 1955) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and retired professional ice hockey player in the World Hockey Association and National Hockey League. Playing career Rick Adduono was drafted by the Boston Bruins of the NHL in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft and by the San Diego Mariners of the WHA in the 1975 WHA Amateur Draft. The Bruins took him in the fourth round, 60th overall, while the Mariners took him in the second round, 27th overall. He began his short professional career by playing one game for the Boston Bruins in the 1975–76 NHL season. Adduono would not play in the big leagues again until the 1978–79 WHA season when he played a full 80 games for the Birmingham Bulls. Jared Bednar
Jared Bednar (born February 28, 1972) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the current head coach of the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously coached the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League, leading them to a Calder Cup championship in 2015–16. He also led the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL to a Kelly Cup championship in the 2008–09 season.
