Jason Farrell
Jason Farrell (born December 31, 1970 in Seattle, Washington) is a former U.S. soccer midfielder who spent four seasons in Major League Soccer, two in the American Professional Soccer League, one in the A-League, three in the National Professional Soccer League and four in the USL First Division. He won two outdoor and one indoor championship and currently coaches youth soccer in the Seattle area. Farrell is currently the head coach of Ballard FC in USL League Two. High school and college Farrell grew up in Seattle, Washington, attending Shorecrest High School and playing in the Seattle Youth Soccer Association. After graduating from Shorecrest in 1989, he attended Skagit Valley College for one year before transferring to the University of Washington for another year. A-League (American)
A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. A-League Men was established in 2004 as the A-League by the Football Federation Australia (FFA) as a successor to the National Soccer League (NSL) and competition commenced in August 2005. Tom Fitzgerald (soccer)
Tom Fitzgerald (March 14, 1951 – December 4, 2004) was an American soccer coach. Fitzgerald played soccer at Hudson Valley Community College before transferring to the University of South Florida his junior season. He played soccer at USF and he graduated in 1974. In 1978, Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida hired Fitzgerald as the school's head coach. From 1978 to 1981, he led the team to two district championships and a 35–11–6 record. He was hired by the University of Tampa as an assistant coach in 1981 and became the team's head coach in 1987. He led the team to five Sunshine State Conference championships and the 1994 NCAA Men's Division II Soccer Championship over Oakland University. 1997 MLS Expansion Draft
The 1997 MLS Expansion Draft was held November 6, 1997. Two teams participated, the Chicago Fire and Miami Fusion F.C., both expansion Major League Soccer clubs starting play in the 1998 season. Format Each team in the league made ten players, including at least one foreign player, available for the Fire and Fusion to select. From this pool of available players, the two teams then selected twelve players. Although Paul Caligiuri of the Los Angeles Galaxy was listed as exposed, he had recently won a lawsuit against the league which forced the league to place him with the Galaxy as his original contract with the league had stipulated. Rochester New York FC, formerly known as the Rochester Rhinos, are an American professional soccer team based in Rochester, New York, United States. Joey Leonetti
Joe Leonetti (born May 25, 1970 in Portland, Oregon) is a former U.S. soccer player. He played for numerous soccer teams over a career which began in 1988 with F.C. Portland and ended in 1999 with the Willamette Valley Firebirds. He also earned two caps with the U.S. national team in 1992 and 1996. High school and college Leonetti attended Gladstone High School where he was the 1987 Oregon State High School player of the Year as a senior. He scored a total of 123 goals during his prep career. After high school, he attended the University of Portland where he played from 1988-1991 under coach Clive Charles. In 1988, his freshman year, he was part of the Portland team which went to the NCAA Final Four only to lose to champion Indiana. Seattle Pacific University (SPU) is a private Christian university in Seattle, Washington.
