Jason Dupasquier
Jason Dupasquier (; 7 September 2001 – 30 May 2021) was a Swiss motorcycle rider who competed in the Moto3 class in the motorcycle world championship until his death after a crash during qualifying at the 2021 Italian motorcycle Grand Prix. He was the son of Motocross rider Philippe Dupasquier. Career Dupasquier began his racing career in 2011; he won multiple SuperMoto Swiss championships and switched to circuit racing in 2016. He was set to debut in the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2018, but suffered a femur injury that prevented him from doing so. Dupasquier debuted in the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2019 and was soon awarded a two-year contract as a Moto3 rider, making his Moto3 debut in 2020. He was in his second season in the World Championship's lightweight class and was in the top 10 in the overall rankings going into the weekend at Mugello. Bulle (; frp, Bulo ) is a municipality in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Fabio Quartararo (; born 20 April 1999), nicknamed El Diablo, is a French Grand Prix motorcycle rider racing in MotoGP for Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP. 2016 Catalan Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2016 Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix was the seventh round of the 2016 MotoGP season. It was held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló on 5 June 2016. The weekend was overshadowed by the death of Moto2 rider Luis Salom, as he was killed in a crash at Europcar (motorcycle Turn 12) during Free Practice 2 on Friday, approximately 25 minutes before the end of the session. For the remainder of the weekend, the track layout was altered to use the configuration used by Formula One since 2007, in order to reduce speeds in the part of the circuit where Salom's accident occurred.
