Jasmin Stowers
Jasmin Marie Stowers (born September 23, 1991) is a former United States, American track and field athlete, who competed in the 100 metres hurdles, 100-meter hurdles. Her personal best for the event is 12.35 seconds, set in 2015, which ranks her 14th on the world all-time lists. Stowers ran for Louisiana State University in collegiate competition and was the 2014 National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA runner-up outdoors. She was the 2015 American indoor champion in the 60 metres hurdles, 60-meter hurdles. Stowers represented her country at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Athletics. Stowers announced her retirement from the sport in October 2020. The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention. The 2014 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships was held at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California. Kendra "Keni" Harrison (born September 18, 1992) is an American hurdler. Harrison set the world record in the women's 100 metres hurdles with a time of 12.20 seconds on July 22, 2016 at the London Müller Anniversary Games, breaking the world record of 12.21 seconds set nearly 28 years earlier by Bulgarian athlete Yordanka Donkova. In college, she competed for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and in 2015 she won NCAA championship titles both indoors and outdoors. Tiffani McReynolds (born 4 December 1991) is an American hurdler. She is a three-time runner-up at the NCAA Division I Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, on one occasion missing the title by 0.007 seconds, and she is a two-time USA Indoor Track and Field Championships top-three finisher. Biography McReynolds grew up in Kansas City, Missouri where she started running in the fifth grade. She was noted for her small size, earning the nickname "Froggy" after her awkward hurdling style – a moniker she leaned into by wearing frog socks every time she ran. Sharika Renea Nelvis (born May 10, 1990) is an American hurdler. In 2014, she was NCAA indoor and outdoor sprint hurdles champion. After graduating from Arkansas State University that summer, Nelvis turned professional and topped the indoor world list in 2015. In human anatomy, a hamstring () is any one of the three posterior thigh muscles in between the hip and the knee (from medial to lateral: semimembranosus, semitendinosus and biceps femoris). Lori Susan "Lolo" Jones (born August 5, 1982) is an American hurdler and bobsledder who specializes in the 60-meter and 100-meter hurdles. She won three NCAA titles and garnered 11 All-American honors while at Louisiana State University. She won indoor national titles in 2007, 2008, and 2009 in the 60-meter hurdles, with gold medals at the World Indoor Championship in 2008 and 2010. In bobsled, she won the 2021 IBSF World Championships as the brakewoman for Kaillie Humphries.
