Jarred Phillips
Jarred Phillips (born 14 May 1995) is a Canadian professional soccer player who currently plays for the Simcoe County Rovers of League1 Ontario. Club career Vaughan Azzurri From 2016 to 2019, Phillips played with Vaughan Azzurri in League1 Ontario. He scored his first goal in a 4–3 victory on June 11 against Master's FA. He won the 2016 League1 Ontario title with Vaughan, appeared in both legs of the 2016 Inter-Provincial Cup against PLSQ champions Mont-Royal Outremont, and was named a league Second Team All-Star. In 2017, he was again named a Second Team All-Star. In 2018, he was named a league First Team All-Star, helping Vaughan to capture the League and Cup double. In the winter of 2018, he played in the Major Arena Soccer League with Mississauga MetroStars. 2022 League1 Ontario Season
The 2022 Men's League1 Ontario season was the eighth season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. Vaughan Azzurri defeated Blue Devils FC in the final to win the league championship and qualified for the 2023 Canadian Championship. Guelph United F.C. represented the league in the 2022 Canadian Championship, as they were the 2021 league champions. Format and changes The league returned to a single table format for the 2022 season with each team playing 21 games, following the 2021 season which was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Simcoe County Rovers Football Club is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Barrie, Ontario, that plays in the League1 Ontario men's and women's divisions. 2019 League1 Ontario Season
The 2019 Men's League1 Ontario season was the sixth season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. The league champion earned entry into the 2020 Canadian Championship, the top national tournament for men's soccer teams and the country's only direct path into the CONCACAF Champions League.
