Jarred Gillett
Jarred Gavan Gillett (born 1 November 1986) is an Australian football referee in the Premier League, following the announcement on 3 August 2021 that he had been promoted to the Select Group referees list. Career Gillett has refereed five Hyundai A-League Grand Finals (2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) and has been named the Hyundai A-League Referee of the Year on five occasions (2011–12, 2014–15, 2015–16, 2016–17 and 2017–18). He refereed the October 2009 National Youth League Grand Final. He was part of the Asian Football Confederation Project Future referees program and visited the Premier League in England in 2010 with the AFC. Gillett made his A-League debut during the 2010–11 A-League season, officiating in 15 matches, including the elimination semi-final between Adelaide United and Wellington Phoenix. The 2019–20 season was the 140th season of competitive association football in England. The season was suspended 13 March 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the first time that an entire football season was suspended since the 1939-40 season was abandoned due to the onset of World War II. On 26 March, the season was abandoned in divisions below the National League, with all results being expunged, one relegation and one expulsion taking place. 2015 International Champions Cup
The 2015 International Champions Cup (or ICC) was a series of friendly association football tournaments. It was the first tournament played separately in Australia, China and the United States. The Australian edition of the tournament featured three teams played across three matches at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on July 18, 21 and 24. Real Madrid were the first club to announce their involvement. Manchester City and Roma were later confirmed to take part in the Australian tournament. The Chinese edition of the tournament featured Real Madrid, Milan and Internazionale playing a total of three matches in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Shanghai. Indian Super League
The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. 2018 FFA Cup Final
The 2018 FFA Cup Final was the fifth final of the FFA Cup, Australia's main football cup competition. The match was contested between Adelaide United and Sydney FC, in a rematch of the 2017 FFA Cup Final which Sydney FC won. Coopers Stadium in Adelaide hosted the game.
