Jarrad Waite
Jarrad Waite (born 4 February 1983) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Carlton Football Club and North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). AFL career Carlton (2003–2014) Born in Devonport, Tasmania, Waite was recruited as the number 46 draft pick in the 2001 AFL draft from Benalla under the father-son selection rule (he is the son of former Carlton player Vin Waite). He made his debut for Carlton in round 1, 2003 against the Sydney Swans. Waite made his stance in the AFL as a very prominent forward after he kicked 36 goals in the 2005 season, finishing second behind Brendan Fevola for the club. Waite was shifted from the forward-line into the back-line during the 2007 NAB Cup where he played at centre half-back. Devonport ( ; Palawa Kani: ''Tiagarra'') is a city in northern Tasmania, Australia, located on the lands of the Pannilerpanner clan of the Palawa nation. The Sydney Swans are a professional Australian rules football club based in Sydney, New South Wales. Richmond Football Club
The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Richmond joined the Victorian Football League (now known as the AFL) in 1908 and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020. Richmond's headquarters and training facilities are located at its original home ground, the Punt Road Oval, which sits adjacent to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), the club's playing home since 1965. Kane Lucas is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was listed with the West Coast Eagles for the 2015 and 2016 seasons, but failed to play a senior match. Interchange (or, colloquially, the bench or interchange bench) is a team position in Australian rules football, consisting of players who are part of the selected team but are not currently on the field of play. Anterior Cruciate Ligament
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation. In the quadruped stifle joint (analogous to the knee), based on its anatomical position, it is also referred to as the cranial cruciate ligament. The term cruciate translates to cross. Brett Ratten
Brett Ratten (born 11 July 1971) is an Australian rules football coach and former player in the Australian Football League (AFL). He played 255 games for the Carlton Football Club between 1990 and 2003, including the club's 1995 premiership. He then served as Carlton's senior coach from 2007 to 2012. After a seven-year stint as an assistant coach with and , in 2019 he was appointed as St Kilda's senior coach, a role he held until his sacking at the end of the 2022 AFL season.
