Jaquelin T. Robertson
Jaquelin Taylor Robertson, FAIA, F AICP, informally known as "Jaque," (March 20, 1933 – May 9, 2020) was an American architect and urban designer, working at Cooper Robertson. He was a representative of New Urbanism and New Classical Architecture. Early life and education Robertson was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia on a classical family-owned estate. His family was aristocratic and lived in a Georgian-style house; he is a descendant of presidents Zachary Taylor and James Madison. His father Walter worked for the U.S. State Department and was special envoy to China for several years. After graduating from Yale College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1954 and spending a year at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, Robertson received a Master of Architecture degree from Yale School of Architecture in 1961. Val d'Europe (; lit. ''Valley of Europe'') is the eastmost part of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, located around to the east of Paris, France. Celebration is a master-planned community (MPC) and census-designated place (CDP) in Osceola County, Florida, United States. A suburb of Orlando, Celebration is located near Walt Disney World Resort and originally developed by The Walt Disney Company. Its population was recorded as 11,178 in the 2020 census. The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is an art museum in Kansas City, Missouri, known for its encyclopedic collection of art from nearly every continent and culture, and especially for its extensive collection of Asian art. Henry Moore
Henry Spencer Moore (30 July 1898 – 31 August 1986) was an English artist. He is best known for his semi- abstract monumental bronze sculptures which are located around the world as public works of art. As well as sculpture, Moore produced many drawings, including a series depicting Londoners sheltering from the Blitz during the Second World War, along with other graphic works on paper. His forms are usually abstractions of the human figure, typically depicting mother-and-child or reclining figures. Moore's works are usually suggestive of the female body, apart from a phase in the 1950s when he sculpted family groups. His forms are generally pierced or contain hollow spaces. New Albany is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio, located northeast of the state capital of Columbus. Most of the city is located in Franklin County and a small portion extends into adjacent Licking County. New Albany had a population of 10,825 at the 2020 census. Alexander Cooper, FAIA, (Born 1936) often credited as Alex Cooper, is an American architect and urban designer. In his 1987 piece on Cooper in ''The New York Times'', Paul Goldberger wrote that Cooper "might be the most influential architect in New York right now. Surely, no architect is having as much impact, not only on the design of individual buildings, but on the shape of wide swaths of the city." Cooper has worked in Chicago, Boston, Denver, and Baltimore, as well as campus plans and buildings at Yale University, Georgetown University, and University of California, Santa Cruz.
