Jaquarii Roberson
Jaquarii Roberson (born July 28, 1998) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Wake Forest and signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Roberson holds the single-season record for receiving yards per game (102.9) at Wake Forest. Early life and high school Roberson was born in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, to Satoya Powell and the late Paul N. Roberson Jr. He attended Hertford County High School in Ahoskie, North Carolina, where he played football as a wide receiver. In his junior year, he broke school records, with 66 receptions for 1,480 yards and 19 touchdowns. The following year, he amassed 76 receptions for 1,370 yards and 15 touchdowns in his senior year. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons football team represents Wake Forest University in the sport of American football. The Demon Deacons compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). Using this mechanism, a student athlete has at most five academic years to use the four years of eligibility, thus becoming what is termed a fifth-year senior. Dave Clawson
David Paul Clawson (born August 16, 1967) is an American football coach and former player. He currently serves as the head football coach at Wake Forest University, where he was named the 2021 ACC Coach of the Year. Clawson previously served as the head football coach at Fordham University from 1999 to 2003, at the University of Richmond from 2004 to 2007, and at Bowling Green State University from 2009 to 2013. The Old Dominion Monarchs football program represents Old Dominion University in U.S. college football. The NC State Wolfpack football team represents North Carolina State University in the sport of American football.
