Japan National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Japan national under-20 rugby union team is Japan's junior national team in rugby union. Japan won the IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy in 2014, beating Tonga in the final 35–10. The France under 20 rugby team are the newest representative rugby union team from France. They replace the two former age grade teams Under 19s and Under 21s. Their first tournament was the 2008 Six Nations U20 Championship, where they finished 3rd with three wins (over Scotland, Ireland and Italy) and two losses (to England and Wales). New Zealand National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The New Zealand Under 20's Rugby Team are the representative Rugby Union team from New Zealand. They replace the two former age grade teams Under 19s and Under 21s. Their first tournament was the 2008 IRB Junior World Championship, which they won after defeating England 38–3 in the final. 2008 IRB Junior World Championship
The 2008 IRB Junior World Championship was the first annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. All players who were twenty years of age or under on 1 January 2008 were eligible for selection. This competition replaced the now defunct Under 19 Rugby World Championship and Under 21 Rugby World Championship. The event, organised by rugby's governing body, the International Rugby Board (IRB), was contested by sixteen men's under-20 national teams.
