Janzen Jackson
Janzen Jackson (born December 14, 1990) is a former American football safety. After playing college football for the University of Tennessee and McNeese State, he was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2012. High school career Jackson initially attended Carencro High School in Lafayette, Louisiana, until 2007 where his father, was the head coach of the football team. There, Jackson honed his skills as a corner under his father's tutelage. After totaling 93 tackles, five interceptions and blocking seven kicks as a junior, he was named Class 5A All-State by the LSWA. After his father returned to McNeese State, Jackson attended Alfred M. Barbe High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he made 92 tackles and intercepted 5 passes as a senior. Free Safety
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. While American (11-player) formations generally use two safeties, Canadian (12-player) formations generally have one safety and two defensive halfbacks, a position not used in the American game. Pilot Company (or simply Pilot) is an American petroleum corporation headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee. Pilot operates the Pilot Food Mart convenience stores in Tennessee. Mike Edwards (born April 26, 1991) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He played college football for the Hawaii Warriors of the University of Hawaii. In 2012, he led all college football players in kickoff return yards. The Memphis Tigers football team represents the University of Memphis in college football in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. James Eric Berry (born December 29, 1988) is an American former football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers, where he was a two-time unanimous All-American and recognized as the best collegiate defensive back in the country. He was then drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs fifth overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. Berry has been voted to the Pro Bowl five times and has been named to the First-team All-Pro three times. The Tampa 2 is an American football defensive scheme popularized by (and thus named after) the Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Football League (NFL) team in the mid-1990s–early 2000s. The Tampa 2 is typically employed out of a 4–3 defensive alignment, which consists of four linemen, three linebackers, two cornerbacks, and two safeties. The defense is similar to a Cover 2 defense, except the middle linebacker drops into a deep middle coverage for a Cover 3 when he reads a pass play. The term rose to popularity due to the installation and effective execution of this defensive scheme by then-head coach Tony Dungy and defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, and the style helped the Buccaneers win Super Bowl XXXVII. Edward James Orgeron Jr. (; born July 27, 1961) is an American football coach. He was most recently the head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), a position he held from midway through the 2016 season until the 2021 season.
