Janardhanan Nair (born 5 May 1946) is an Indian actor, producer and a former Indian Airforce personnel who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. He acted in his first feature film '' Adyathe Kadha'', directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan in 1971, he acted in more than 700 films. He started his career when Malayalam films were made in black and white. He is known for his style of handling humour and his iconic voice. He started his career playing brusque villains and sub hero roles in the 1970s and early 1980s, acting along with Prem Nazir and Jayan, but later established himself as a highly sought-after comedian. The turning point of his career was his role in the 1988 film ''Oru CBI Diary Kurippu'', which brought out his comic skills. However, he was typecast as a comedian only after the 1993 film ''Meleparambil Aanveedu''. Mimicry artists perform with his noted role of Garvasis Aashan in ''Mannar Mathai Speaking'' (1995). Karamana Janardanan Nair (25 July 1936 – 24 April 2000) was a Malayalam film actor, who was active during the 1980s and 1990s. He was especially known for his character roles. He won wide acclaim especially for the role of the protagonist in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Elippathayam (1981). He notably played the villain role along with Thilakan in ''Pattanapravesham''(1988). He played the lead role in the K. G. George directed film ''Mattoral'', supported by Mammootty, which was released in 1988. His last role was as Fr. Kudamaloor Janardanan[കുടമാളൂര്‍ ജനാര്‍ദ്ദനന്‍] (21 July 1969 – ) is an Indian flautist of the Carnatic music tradition. Early life and background Kudamaloor Janardanan was born into a musical family in Kudamaloor, Kottayam district, Kerala, India. He had his basic vocal music lessons from his father, G. Krishna Iyer. Ganesh Janardhanan, also known by his stage name VTV Ganesh is an Indian actor, comedian and film producer. He is best known for his hoarse voice, and his appearances in films featuring Silambarasan.
