Janardhan Chikkanna
Janardhan Chikkanna is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Kannada cinema. He rose to fame following the success of his directorial debut ''Gultoo.'' Gultoo — produced by Prashanth Reddy and Devaraj Ramanna under the Vivid Films banner. Career Janardhan took to films after completing his graduation in engineering and says that his course influenced the subject of Gultoo. He went on to do a course at the MGR Government Film and Television Institute. When he passed out of there in 2015, Janardhan was sure that he didn’t want to assist any director or knock on producers’ doors with a script in hand. He made his directorial debut in 2018 with ''Gultoo'', that throws light on individual privacy and our vulnerability online, a cyber crime thriller. Kannada Cinema
Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. The 1934 film '' Sati Sulochana'' directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film in the Kannada language. It was also the first film starring Subbaiah Naidu and Tripuramba, and was the first motion picture screened in the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom. ''Gultoo'' is a 2018 Indian Kannada language cyber-thriller film written and directed by Janardhan Chikkanna. under the banner Vivid Films, the movie's music is scored by Amit Anand. Kotturu Chikkarangappa Raghunath (born 17 April 1965), known by his screen name Rangayana Raghu, is an Indian film and stage actor, known for his work in Kannada cinema.
