Janar Talts
Janar Talts (born 7 April 1983) is a former Estonian professional basketball player who is the sporting director of University of Tartu basketball team. Standing at 2.07 m (6 ft 9 in), he played at the Power forward (basketball), power forward and Center (basketball), center positions. He represented the Estonia men's national basketball team, Estonian national basketball team internationally. Professional career Talts began his professional career in 2001 with TTÜ-A. Le Coq of the Korvpalli Meistriliiga. In 2002, Talts signed for the Estonian champions KK Kalev, Tallinna Kalev. With Tallinna Kalev, he won his first Estonian Championship in the 2002–03 KML season, 2002–03 season, after Tallinna Kalev defeated TTÜ/A. Le Coq 4 games to 2 in the KML Finals. Estonian Basketball Cup
The Estonian Cup ( et, Eesti karikas), also known as the Paf SuperCup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual cup competition for Estonian basketball teams. It is organized by the Estonian Basketball Association. Until the 2000–01 season, the cup tournament was held in the end of the season in spring. University Of Tartu Basketball Team
University of Tartu basketball team ( et, link=no, Tartu Ülikooli korvpallimeeskond ), for sponsorship reasons known as Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits, is a professional basketball team based in Tartu, Estonia. The team plays in the Latvian–Estonian Basketball League. They play their home games at the University of Tartu Sports Hall. Founded in 1937 as division of the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club, the team have won a record 26 Estonian Championships, a record 17 Estonian Cups and one Soviet Championship. Basketball

The 2017–18 Korvpalli Meistriliiga season (also known as the Alexela Korvpalli Meistriliiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 93rd season of top-tier basketball in Estonia. The 2013–14 Alexela Korvpalli Meistriliiga was the 89th season of the Estonian basketball league and the first under the title sponsorship of Alexela. Kalev/Cramo came into the season as defending champions of the 2012–13 KML season. The season started on 27 September 2013 and concluded on 21 May 2014 with Kalev/Cramo defeating TÜ/Rock 4 games to 0 in the 2014 KML Finals to win their 7th Estonian League title.
