Jan Van Katwijk
Jan van Katwijk (born 30 August 1946) is a retired Dutch cyclist who was active between 1965 and 1978. He won a number of races including Ronde van Drenthe (1968), Acht van Chaam (1969) and national road championships (1972) as well as one stage of Vuelta a Andalucía (1970) and Tour de France (1976). As an army serviceman he won the national military championships in 1967. His son Alain, niece Nathalie, younger brothers Piet and Fons as well as son-in-law Bram Schmitz Bram Schmitz (born 23 April 1977) is a retired Dutch professional road cyclist. Oploo
Oploo is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the former municipality of Sint Anthonis. Since 2022 it has been part of the new municipality of Land van Cuijk. History Oploo developed in the valley of a brook in the 12th or 13th century. There used to be two castle near Oploo, but both have disappeared. Of Bekenstein castle a farm remains with 16th century elements. The grist mill De Korenbloem was moved to Oploo in 1843. It was known to be in 's-Hertogenbosch before 1663. The wind mill was in use until 1952. The municipality received the wind mill in emphyteusis in 1966, and later became full owner. It was restored the same year and is occasionally in use. Oploo was a separate municipality until 1821, when it merged with Sint Anthonis en Ledeacker to form the new municipality of Oploo, Sint Anthonis en Ledeacker. Oploo was home to 482 people in 1840. Ronde Van Drenthe
Ronde van Drenthe ( en, Tour of Drenthe) is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Drenthe, Netherlands and sanctioned by the Royal Dutch Cycling Union. Since 1998 there is also a women's event, known as Novilon Internationale Damesronde van Drenthe and since 2007 there is also a Ronde van Drenthe for women which was part of the UCI Women's Road World Cup until 2015. In 2016, the race became part of the new UCI Women's World Tour. Since 2005, the men's event is UCI 1.1 rated and is part of the UCI Europe Tour. Acht Van Chaam
Acht van Chaam ( en, Eight of Chaam) is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in Chaam, Netherlands. The first edition was in 1932 and since 1992 the event also includes a women's race. Results Men Source: Women Source: Organization Theo van der Westerlaken Since 1971 the competition was organized by Theo van der Westerlaken (1949 – 14 July 2020), the son of the founder of Acht van Chaam. For his works he was awarded by the Royal Dutch Cycling Union with the "Gouden Wiel" (translated: Golden Wheel) in July 2020. A week later van der Westerlaken died on 14 July due to an illness, aged 71. A plaque on the cycling monument opposite his house in the center of Chaam will be placed by the board of Acht van Chaam.

Vuelta A Andalucía
The Vuelta a Andalucía (Tour of Andalusia) or Ruta del Sol (Route of the Sun) is a regional Spanish road bicycle race first held in 1925. Since 2005, it has been a 2.1 category race on the UCI Europe Tour. The race became a part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020. Tour De France
The Tour de France () is an annual men's multiple-stage bicycle race primarily held in France, while also occasionally passing through nearby countries. Like the other Grand Tours (the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España), it consists of 21 stages, each a day long, over the course of 23 days, coinciding with the Bastille Day holiday. Pieter Gerardus "Piet" van Katwijk (born 27 February 1949) is a retired Dutch cyclist who was active between 1969 and 1983. He competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics and finished in eleventh place in the road race. He won the Milk Race (1973) and Acht van Chaam (1974) as well as several stages of the Olympia's Tour (1970, 1971, 1972), Tour de Suisse (1976), Tour of Belgium (1976), Ronde van Nederland (1977) and Tour de Luxembourg (1977). Alphonsus Wilhelmus Franciscus "Fons" van Katwijk (born 1 December 1951) is a retired Dutch cyclist who was active between 1971 and 1987. He competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics and finished in 17th place in the 100 km team time trial (with Frits Pirard, Adri van Houwelingen and Arie Hassink).
