Jan Stráský
Jan Stráský (24 December 1940 – 6 November 2019) was a Czech politician, who served as the last prime minister of Czechoslovakia in 1992. Early life Stráský studied philosophy and political economy at the Charles University in Prague. From 1958 to 1990 he worked at the Central bank of Czechoslovakia. From 1964 to 1969 he was a member of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. In 1991 Stráský became a member of the Civic Democratic Party. From 1992 he was a member of parliament, minister of transportation (1993–95), and minister of health (1995–96). From 2 July to 31 December 1992 he served as prime minister. When Czechoslovak President Václav Havel resigned on 20 July 1992 due to his disagreement with the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, Stráský also took on some presidential duties until the country was formally dissolved at the end of 1992. Šumava National Park
The Šumava National Park ( cs, Národní park Šumava, usually shortened as NP Šumava), or Bohemian Forest National Park, is a national park in the South Bohemian regions of the Czech Republic along the border with Germany (where the smaller adjacent Bavarian Forest National Park lies) and Austria. They protect a little-inhabited area of the mountain range of the same name, the Šumava or Bohemian Forest. The Šumava National Park forms about two-thirds of a former protection known as Protected Landscape Area of Šumava, or simply Šumava PLA, established in 1963. Zuzana Roithová
Zuzana Roithová (born 30 January 1953) is a Czech politician and former Member of the European Parliament. She was vice-chair of the European Parliament's Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, a substitute on the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality and a member of the Delegation for relations with the countries of Central America. She was a candidate in Czech presidential election 2013. In the 1st round of the election held in January 2013, she placed 6th with 4,95% (255,045 votes). She didn't qualify for the second round. Having previously served as Minister of Health, Senator and as Chair of the European Movement in the Czech Republic, she is a signatory of the Prague Declaration on European Conscience and Communism and a member of the Reconciliation of European Histories Group.
