Jan Martín
Jan Fernando Martín Sonneborn ( he, ג'אן מרטין; born November 20, 1984) is a former professional basketball player with three nationalities, Spanish, German, and Israeli. In his career, he has played at three different positions, center, power forward and small forward. Martín was the first Spanish player to play in the Israeli Super League. While playing with Maccabi Ashdod in the 2010–11 season, he was chosen as the Israeli League Rising Star. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. Albert Schweitzer Tournament
The Albert Schweitzer Tournament (AST) is an international basketball competition that is played between national basketball teams of the Under-18 men age category. It takes place every two years in Mannheim, Germany, and is contested between teams from 12 countries. Since FIBA does not organize an Under-18 world championship, the Albert Schweitzer Tournament is internationally recognized and considered a non-FIBA organized world championship for the Under-18 age group. Marc Gasol
Marc Gasol Sáez (, ; born January 29, 1985) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Bàsquet Girona of the Liga ACB. The center is a two-time All-NBA Team member and a three-time NBA All-Star. He was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2013, and won an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors in 2019. Gasol was drafted 48th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA draft. Germán Antonio Gabriel Benaches (born November 16, 1980) is a Spanish retired professional basketball player. He played as a power forward and as a center. Professional career Gabriel signed with the Liga ACB club Estudiantes in 2009. After spending four years in the club of Madrid, he signed for Bilbao Basket. The Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL), also known as the Balkan League, is a multinational professional basketball league that features mostly clubs from the Balkans. Moshe "Miki" Berkovich (or Mickey Berkowitz; he, משה "מיקי" ברקוביץ'; born 17 February 1954) is an Israeli former professional basketball player.
