Jan Frylinck
Jan Nicolaas Frylinck (born 6 April 1994) is a South African-born Namibian cricketer who currently plays for Namibia national cricket team. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler. Frylinck made his first-class debut for Boland on 24 March 2011 against Western Province. Biography Frylinck represented the South Africa Under-19 cricket team in several youth One Day International matches. He was included in the Griqualand West cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. Frylinck is a Namibian citizen by descent, his father being born in Walvis Bay. He was named in Namibia's squad for an Intercontinental Cup game against Papua New Guinea in October 2016, but had to withdraw due to not receiving confirmation of his eligibility in time. Bellville, Western Cape
Bellville is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is situated adjacent to the Koelberg Mountains and also the University of Western Cape where it has its own campus. Established It was founded as "12 Mile Post" (Afrikaans: "12-Myl-Pos") because it is located 12 miles (20 km) from Cape Town city centre. It was first known as "Hardekraaltjie". 2015 Africa T20 Cup
The 2015 Africa T20 Cup was a Twenty20 cricket tournament held in South Africa from 4 September to 4 October 2015, as a curtain-raiser to the 2015–16 South African domestic season. Organized by Cricket South Africa, it featured thirteen South African provincial teams, as well as a Zimbabwean development XI and the national sides of Kenya and Namibia. The sixteen participating teams were split into four pools of four, with the teams from each pool playing all of their matches at one ground across a single weekend. The Ghana national cricket team represents Ghana in men's international cricket. Oman National Cricket Team
The Oman national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Oman and is governed by the Oman Cricket Board, which became an Affiliate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000, and gained Associate status in 2014. The national side has played matches at Twenty20 International level. On 24 April 2019, Oman achieved One-Day International status for the first time until 2023, after they beat tournament hosts Namibia by four wickets in 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two. The 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was an international cricket tournament that took place in April 2019 in Namibia. It was contested between six teams; Canada, Hong Kong, Oman, Papua New Guinea, the United States and tournament hosts Namibia. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determined the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The final and third-place playoff match were granted One Day International (ODI) status by the International Cricket Council. 2018 Africa T20 Cup
The 2018 Africa T20 Cup was the fourth and final edition of the Africa T20 Cup, a Twenty20 cricket tournament. It was held in South Africa in September 2018, as a curtain-raiser to the 2018–19 South African domestic season. Provincial side KwaZulu-Natal Inland were the defending champions. 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was a cricket tournament that took place in February 2018 in Namibia. The United Arab Emirates won the tournament, after beating Nepal by 7 runs in the final. Canada and Namibia finished third and fourth respectively and remained in Division Two. Oman and Kenya finished fifth and sixth respectively and were both relegated to Division Three. 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge
The 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge was a List A cricket competition that took place in South Africa from 15 October 2017 to 8 April 2018. The competition was played between the thirteen South African provincial teams and Namibia. The tournament was played in parallel with the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup, a first-class competition which featured the same teams. Northerns were the defending champions. Following Namibia's fixture against Free State in February 2018, Namibia's captain Sarel Burger and vice-captain Craig Williams retired from cricket.
