Jamie Woolford
Jamie Woolford (born 15 November 1974 in Luton, England) is a record producer, engineer, singer-songwriter and touring musician. He is a founding member of rock bands The Stereo, Let Go and Animal Chin. In 2013, he released his first solo record title "A Framed Life In Charming Light" on Get Well Records. The Stereo
The Stereo is a pop-rock and roll band started in early 1999 by former ska-punk band frontmen Jamie Woolford (of Animal Chin) and Rory Phillips (of The Impossibles). The pair were initially brought together on recommendation of their record label Fueled By Ramen. The duo released their debut album ''Three Hundred'' in summer 1999. Over their recording and touring history, the band endured a number of line-up changes. Singer-songwriter Woolford was always affiliated with the group and composed all selections on subsequent releases. The group disbanded in early 2004 with Woolford and bassist Chris Serafini reconvening to form the band Let Go. In 2009, ''Alternative Press'' named ''Three Hundred'' one of the '10 most influential albums from 1999 that shaped Punk today'. Animal Chin
Animal Chin was a ska punk group from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The group was named after the 1987 skateboarding film, ''The Search for Animal Chin''. They released their debut LP, ''All the Kids Agree'', in 1997, and soon after signed to Fueled By Ramen, who pressed their EP ''The Ins & Outs of Terrorism!'' that same year. Let Go (band)
Let Go is a rock band from Tempe, Arizona, formed in late 2004. They are currently signed to southern California record label The Militia Group. History Let Go was formed in late 2004 by The Stereo's Jamie Woolford and Chris Serafini. After the break-up of The Stereo, Woolford began working on solo material, and Serafini joined the band Gloritone, where he met drummer Scott Hessel, who would later be asked to join Let Go. According to Woolford, he asked Serafini and Hessel to form the band when he wanted to fill out his new material. Serafini counters that after bonding with Hessel in Gloritone, his desire to start a new band was whetted, and the pair recruited Woolford. Gin Blossoms is an American alternative rock band formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona, Tempe, Arizona. They rose to prominence following the 1992 release of their first major label album, ''New Miserable Experience'', and the first single released from that album, "Hey Jealousy". "Hey Jealousy" became a Top 25 hit and went gold, and ''New Miserable Experience'' eventually went quadruple platinum; four other charting singles were released from the album.
