Jamie Walker (born 20 December 1991) is an English international bowls player. Bowls career Outdoors In 2013, he won two gold medals at the European Bowls Championships in Spain. He was named as the 2015 Thomas Taylor 'Bowler of the Year' after securing a National title in 2015 and winning the singles gold medal and the triples bronze medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships. In 2016 he won two more National titles, the Junior singles and Mixed fours at Leamington Spa. In December 2016 he was part of the triples team with Andy Knapper and Robert Paxton who won the gold medal at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch. He has won six National Championship titles in 2011, 2013, 2015 (x 2), 2016 and 2017. In 2019 he won the singles and pairs gold medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships and in 2020 he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia. Bowls, also known as lawn bowls or lawn bowling, is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a "jack" or "kitty". Jason Banks (bowls)
Jason Banks (born 1996) is a Scottish international lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career Banks reached the 2014 National Indoor Singles final and in 2019 won the National Under 25 Singles. In 2019 he won the Junior singles title at the IIBC Championships. In 2017, he won three medals at the European Bowls Championships. In 2020, he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia as the men's team travelling reserve but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, he won fours gold and pairs bronze at the European Bowls Championships. Banks recorded his best result to date when he reached the final of the 2023 World Indoor Bowls Championship, he was unlucky to lose to Jamie Walker after playing so consistently in the final. Louis Ridout is an English international indoor and outdoor bowls player. Bowls career In 2015 he won the pairs bronze medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships. In 2016 he won the National title in the Pairs with Sam Tolchard. The bowler who represents Devon represented England during the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship. He was selected as part of the English team for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Queensland where he claimed a bronze medal in the Fours with David Bolt, Jamie Chestney and Sam Tolchard. He was crowned National singles champion in August 2018 after defeating Andrew Squire 21–16 in the final. Nick Brett (born 14 May 1974) is an English lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career Brett bowls for the Huntingdon indoor bowls club and Brampton outdoor bowls club. He was ranked the indoor world number 1 in 2015 and 2016. and also won an outdoors National Title in 1999 and subsequent singles at the British Isles Bowls Championships in 2000. Brett's greatest achievement before 2016 was winning the 2014 World Indoor Bowls Championship Pairs title partnering Greg Harlow. It was during the 2016 World Indoor Bowls Championship that Brett became the World Singles Champion for the first time beating Robert Paxton in a competitive final.
