Jamie Thackray (born 30 September 1979), also known by the nickname of "Thackers", is a Great Britain international rugby league footballer who plays for Whitehaven in the Betfred Championship. Thackray made his career high number of appearances for Hull FC over two different spells and also played more than fifty times for each of Hunslet Hawks, Halifax and Workington. He was also a first team regular for a season or two at Castleford, Leeds, Crusaders, Barrow, London Broncos and Doncaster. The London Skolars are a professional rugby league club based at the New River Stadium, Wood Green, Haringey in north London. They were founded in 1995 and have been professional since 2003, operating in the Betfred League 1. They also run an A-team (formerly known as ''Haringey Hornets'') that play in the South Premier Division of the Rugby League Conference. The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. Whitehaven 2010 R.L.F.C. is a professional rugby league club playing in Whitehaven in west Cumbria. They play in Betfred Championship after winning Betfred League 1 in 2019. Yorkshire Division One is an English rugby union division, the seventh tier of the domestic competition, and the top level for local rugby union in parts of Yorkshire.
