Jamie Slabber
Jamie Andrew Slabber (born 31 December 1984) is an English former footballer who played as a striker. He started his career as a youth at Tottenham Hotspur, where he made one appearance in the Premier League. Slabber was loaned out twice whilst at Spurs, to Danish side AB in 2004 and to Swindon Town in 2005. He then dropped down into non-League football signing a short-term contract with Aldershot Town in April 2005 until the end of the 2004–05 season. The following season, he moved to Grays Athletic, before joining Oxford United on loan in November 2006. Slabber moved to Stevenage Borough in January 2007, staying for five months before joining Havant & Waterlooville the following season. He returned to Grays Athletic in November 2008. Welling is an area of South East London, England, in the London Borough of Bexley, west of Bexleyheath, southeast of Woolwich and of Charing Cross. Before the creation of Greater London in 1965, it was in the historical county of Kent. Etymology Local legend has it that Welling is so called because in the era of horse-drawn vehicles it could be said you were "well in" to Kent, or had a "well end" to the journey up and down Shooters Hill which, at the time was steep, had a poor road surface and was a notorious haunt of highwaymen. Gary Michael Thomas Doherty (born 31 January 1980) is an Irish former professional association football, footballer who played as a defender, having previously also played as a forward (association football), forward. He gained international honours for the Republic of Ireland national football team, Republic of Ireland. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. In sports, a reserve team is a team composed of players under contract to a club but who do not normally play in matches for the first team. Reserve teams often include back-up players from the first team, young players who need playing time to improve their skills, as well as members of the first team recovering from injury. Damian Scannell
Damian Scannell (born 28 April 1985) is an English former footballer who last played for Tonbridge Angels. Earlier in his career he played for Fisher Athletic, Eastleigh, Southend United, Sutton United and Dagenham & Redbridge. Scannell was educated at Oasis Academy Shirley Park, Croydon, between 1996 and 2001. Club career Scannell made nine appearances from the bench in the 2007–08 season as Southend United made the League One play-offs. Conference South
The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. Along with National League North, it is in the second level of the National League System, and is the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. The National League South was introduced in 2004 as part of a major restructuring of the National League System. Each year the champion of the league is automatically promoted to the National League. Non-League football describes football leagues played outside the top leagues of a country. Usually, it describes leagues which are not fully professional. The term is primarily used for football in England, where it is specifically used to describe all football played at levels below those of the Premier League (20 clubs) and the three divisions of the English Football League (EFL; 72 clubs). Currently, a non-League team would be any club playing in the National League or below that level.
