Jamie Franks is a US Navy Veteran and a competitive shooter known for being on the History Channel's marksmen competition show Top Shot. After performing well in Season 2, Franks was invited back to compete on Top Shot Allstars. Since competing on Top Shot, Franks has focused more on competitive shooting and has become a fierce competitor in multi gun. Background Jamie Franks grew up in a rural area outside of Raleigh, North Carolina in a family of hunters and shooters on his family's tobacco farm. He spent much of his childhood exploring, hunting, and roaming the backwoods of the Southeastern United States. Even as a child, Franks aspired to a career in the military. Multigun, Multi Gun or Multi-Gun, often also called 2-Gun or 3-Gun depending on the types of firearms used, are practical shooting events where each of the stages require the competitor to use a combination of handguns, rifles, and/or shotguns Multigun has a lot in common with ordinary IPSC/ USPSA single gun matches, and matches generally have courses of fire where the shooter must move through different stages and engage targets in a variety of different positions. Counter-IED efforts are done primarily by military and law enforcement (led by intelligence efforts) with the assistance of the diplomatic and financial communities. Chris Reed is a competitive shooter known for being the winner of the second season of History Channel's marksmen competition ''Top Shot''. He also competed in the Field & Stream's Total Outdoorsman Challenge for 5 years, finishing in the top 3 four times. Since winning ''Top Shot'', Reed has gone on to participate in long range tactical rifle competitions. His best finish was at the PRS in Tehachapi, CA in 2015 where he won the Mid East Regional Championship. Background Reed was born in Mississippi. He lives in Grenada, Mississippi, and works as a realtor and also runs his own bulldozing company. Reed has two children and has been married for 21 years.
