Jamie Dunn
Jamie Dunn (born 12 August 1950) is an Australian television and radio personality, puppeteer, comedian, and voice artist. Starting his entertainment career as a singer, Dunn moved into television, working the puppet Agro on ''Agro's Cartoon Connection'', ''Seven's Super Saturday'' and ''The Super Sunday Show''. Television For three decades Dunn has been the voice and personality of children's character Agro. Dunn is the narrator of the Animal Planet series '' Snake Boss''. Radio Up until 2005, Dunn was a member of a radio breakfast show in Brisbane. Dunn was an original member of the B105 Morning Crew, along with Donna Lynch and Ian Skippen when the station was first launched on the FM band in 1990. Whereas originally Dunn performed on B105 as Agro, over time he came to be credited as himself. Agro (puppet)
Agro is an Australian puppet and media personality, operated by comedian and voice artist Jamie Dunn. He was especially prominent on Australian television in the 1990s due to his co-hosting opposite Ann-Maree Biggar and Terasa Livingstone of ''Agro's Cartoon Connection'', a children's program that was aired from 1989 to 1997 on weekday mornings on the Seven Network. Name and personality The word "agro" (also spelled "aggro") is Australian slang for "aggression" or "aggravation". Agro is sometimes said to have the surname Vation, though the puppet is rarely credited with a surname. Agro's humour tends to be adult, with much sexual suggestion, cursing and uninhibited behaviour. He has often appeared with an innocent-acting female offsider, who is subjected to mocking and innuendo. Kent Music Report
The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music enthusiast David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts. Before the Kent Report, ''Go-Set'' magazine published weekly Top-40 Singles from 1966, and Album charts from 1970 until the magazine's demise in August 1974. David Kent later published Australian charts from 1940 to 1973 in a retrospective fashion, using state by state chart data obtained from various Australian radio stations. Robert Braiden
Robert Braiden is an Australian film director and writer. Born in Sydney he grew up in Moorebank, Liverpool, New South Wales and now currently lives in Brisbane, Queensland. After obtaining a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Film and Television Production from Griffith University, Robert went on to work in commercial television on such shows as ''The Great South East'' and ''Big Brother''. His writing and directing credits include the short films ''Nine Miles Beautiful'', ''Falling'', ''True Love'', ''Ink'' and ''The Housewife''. ''Wombat'' was an Australian children's television show which screened on the Seven Network from 1979 to 1990. It was produced at BTQ7 in Brisbane and aired across Australia on weekday afternoons, and later Saturday and Sunday mornings.
