Jamie Davies (born 16 February 1974, in Yeovil) is a British racing driver. Career Single-seaters Davies began his career competing in karting, winning the South West Championship in 1988, the British Junior Championship in 1989 and the British Junior Open Championship in 1990.http://www.jamiedavies.co.uk/ Official Website He started his circuit racing career driving in the Formula Vauxhall Junior Championship in 1992, winning numerous races before moving up to the Formula Vauxhall Lotus Championship for the 1993 and 1994 seasons. Panoz is an American manufacturer of sports automobiles founded in 1989 as Panoz Auto Development by Dan Panoz, son of Don Panoz. Kelvin Burt
Kelvin Burt (born 7 September 1967 in Birmingham) is a British auto racing driver. After attending the Jim Russell Racing Drivers' School in 1987 he turned to Formula Ford racing, battling hard against David Coulthard for the championship. He won his class in a British Touring Car Championship round at Oulton Park, before spending 1991 winning the Formula Vauxhall Lotus series, and being voted Autosport Club Driver of the Year. He moved up to British F3 in 1992, winning the title with Paul Stewart Racing in 1993 with 9 wins, a record for a British driver. He did some Porsche Supercup races in 1994, becoming the only Brit to win a race in that form of the series. He also became the test driver for the Jordan Grand Prix Formula One team midseason, and the Jordan team put a contract option to consider having him race in F1. 1995 British Formula Three Season
The 1995 British Formula Three season was the 45th British Formula Three Championship, won by Oliver Gavin. The season started on 26 March at Silverstone and ended at Thruxton on 15 October following eighteen races. Having finished runner-up to Kelvin Burt two years previously, Gavin took the risk of dropping back down to Formula Three off the back of an unsuccessful season in Formula 3000 and was able to narrowly clinch the title at the final round from fellow Briton Ralph Firman.
