James Wormworth
James Wormworth is an American drummer and percussionist. Wormworth is a member of Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band on the TBS (U.S. TV channel), TBS Late-night talk show, late night comedy program, ''Conan (talk show), Conan''. Wormworth often appeared as house drummer during the band's run as The Max Weinberg 7 on ''Late Night with Conan O'Brien.'' Wormworth joined the band as a full-time member when O'Brien became the host of ''The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien''. Wormworth is the band's full-time drummer on O'Brien's TBS (U.S. TV channel), TBS talk show ''Conan (talk show), Conan''. Wormworth has a strong preference toward playing the drums with his feet completely bare, as exhibited when he wears a full suit with bare feet while playing on television. Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band was the house band for Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show '' Conan'' from its debut on November 8, 2010 to the final episode of its 60-minute format October 4, 2018. Guitarist and arranger Jimmy Vivino is the group's leader. The group was originally formed and led by drummer Max Weinberg in 1993, and played under the name The Max Weinberg 7 when it was the house band for ''Late Night with Conan O'Brien'' in New York through 2009. He was described by Leonard Feather in 1960 edition of ''The Encyclopedia of Jazz'' as "One of the most promising young drummers on the New York scene." He is the father of drummer James Wormworth and bassist Tracy Wormworth. Tracy Wormworth
Tracy Ann Wormworth (born December 15, 1958) is an American bass guitarist. Wormworth is a member of the B-52s. She has recorded and toured with the band since the Cosmic Tour of 1990. She played on their sixth studio album, 1992's '' Good Stuff'', and recorded on the band's soundtrack for the 1994 movie "The Flintstones". By 2008, she was listed as an official band member on their album ''Funplex;'' she is featured in the 2011 video recording ''With the Wild Crowd! Live in Athens, GA''. Wormworth's career began as a member of The Waitresses, a New Wave band out of Akron, Ohio.
