James Riley (soccer)
James Riley (born October 27, 1982) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender. Riley previously spent eleven seasons in Major League Soccer (MLS) with the New England Revolution (2005–2007), San Jose Earthquakes (2008), Seattle Sounders FC (2009–2011), Chivas USA (2012), D.C. United (2013), LA Galaxy (2014), and the Colorado Rapids (2015). Riley served as the captain of the Cascadia National Team in the 2018 ConIFA World Football Cup. Playing career College and Amateur Riley played college soccer at Wake Forest University, and in the USL Premier Development League with both Carolina Dynamo and his hometown team, Colorado Springs Blizzard. Professional New England Revolution drafted Riley in the second round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft, and he acquitted himself well in his rookie season, playing various positions and scoring a goal. The Tacoma Stars are an American soccer organization that fields teams in both the indoor soccer Major Arena Soccer League and the National Premier Soccer League. Founded in 2003, the indoor team plays at ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. History The Stars were founded in 2003 as a member of the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier). Álvaro Alberto Saborío Chacón (; born 25 March 1982) is a Costa Rican professional footballer, who plays as a forward and captains Costa Rican club San Carlos from the Primera División de Costa Rica. The 2015 MLS SuperDraft was the sixteenth SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is held each year in conjunction with the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America convention. The 2015 convention was held January 14–18, 2015 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The first two rounds of the SuperDraft took place on January 15, 2015. Gerson Levi Mayen Villavicencio (born 9 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for C.D. Águila. Born in the United States, he represents the El Salvador national team at international level. Justin Braun (born March 31, 1987) is an American retired soccer player who played as a forward. Career Youth and amateur Braun had an accomplished career at Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, where he was named to the All-State first team in his junior and senior years, and to the second team his second year, as well as being the leading scorer in the state during his last two years at the school.
