James Morgan (born 8 August 1985) is a Welsh actor. Career Stage Morgan was born in Maesteg, South Wales on 8 August 1985. He began acting in 1996, at the age of ten, when he was cast in the role of Charlie Bates in the Maesteg Amateur Operatic Society production of ''Oliver!''. He built up a reputation through acting in pantomime and musical theatre performances in the local community. He began to accrue significant roles on stage including Chino in ''West Side Story'' and Cosmo in ''Singin' in the Rain'' for Bridgend County Youth Theatre. James Morgan (engineer)
James Morgan (1776? – 18 February 1856) was a British architect and engineer, notably associated with the construction of the Regent's Canal in London. He is thought to have been born in Carmarthen, south Wales, where he became employed by noted architect and planner John Nash – an association which was to last some 40 years. As a master-planner, Nash often left the completion of projects to his assistants and Morgan was no exception. His 1811 masterplan for Regent's Park and the surrounding areas, for example, saw Morgan gainfully employed in supervising much of the park's layout. That same year, Nash was approached by Thomas Homer to join a venture to construct a canal across north central London. Morgan, again, became responsible for the project's details, his plans formed the basis for the Regent's Canal Act passed by Parliament in 1812 and he was subsequently appointed the company’s engineer. He played college football at Florida International and Bowling Green before being drafted by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. James Patrick Morgan, known as Jimmy, but nicknamed "Nitro" (December 16, 1948 - February 8, 1981) was an American bobsledder who competed from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. James E. Morgan (June 13, 1934 – September 29, 2019) was an American basketball player and race horse trainer. He played college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals and won a National Invitation Tournament (NIT) championship in 1956. Morgan was selected by the Syracuse Nationals in the 1957 NBA draft but never played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was a high school teacher and basketball coach in Ohio before he became a horse trainer in the mid-1960s. Morgan was one of Ohio's leading horse trainers over a 40-year career. James Morgan is a former Welsh international lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career He won a bronze medal in the pairs at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton. Eight years later won a gold medal in the fours at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh with Hafod Thomas, Robert Weale and Will Thomas.
