James Kelly (basketball)
James Kelly (born August 12, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for Owens Community College, University of Miami and Marshall University before playing professionally in South Korea, Israel and Greece. High school career Kelly started playing basketball junior year of high school, after a four-inch growth spurt. He attended Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he averaged 15 points, eight rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist per game and was named the league MVP. College career Kelly played two years at Owens Community College, where he averaged 17.9 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game, becoming the first player in program history to record 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, 100 steals and 100 blocks in his career. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. Performance Index Rating (PIR) is a basketball mathematical statistical formula that is used by the Euroleague Basketball Company's first and second tier competitions, the EuroLeague and the EuroCup, as well as various European national domestic and regional leagues. It is a part of the Tendex basketball rating system. It is also variously referred to as Performance Index Ranking, Rating, Ranking, Evaluation, Valuation, and Efficiency. It is similar to, but not exactly the same as, the NBA's Efficiency (EFF) stat. 2016 NBA Summer League
The 2016 NBA Summer League consisted of three pro basketball leagues organized by the National Basketball Association (NBA): the Orlando Pro Summer League, Utah Jazz Summer League, and Las Vegas Summer League.
