James Harold King
James Harold King (October 17, 1871 – May 10, 1949) was a medical doctor and politician in Ontario, Canada. He represented Wellington South in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1934 to 1943 as a Liberal. The son of James King and Agnes Munn, both natives of Scotland, he was born in Hastings County and was educated in Chatham, in London, at Trinity University and at the University of Western Ontario. London (pronounced ) is a city in southwestern Ontario, Canada, along the Quebec City–Windsor Corridor. The city had a population of 422,324 according to the 2021 Canadian census. Puslinch, Ontario
Puslinch () is a township in south-central Ontario, Canada, in Wellington County, surrounding the south end of Guelph. The main source of production is agricultural, spring water bottling and mining. Aggregate mining has been dominant throughout the county. About half of the township is forested, and a conservation area lies to the southwest. Near the western edge of the township, just outside Cambridge, Ontario, is Puslinch Lake, the largest kettle lake in North America. It is part of the Guelph census metropolitan area. The township has its own strategic plan, with the current version dated 2015 to 2020. Guelph/Eramosa () is a township located in Wellington County, in midwestern Ontario, Canada. It partly encircles the city of Guelph, surrounding it in a continuous arc from approximately northeast to south-southwest of the city. It is part of the Guelph census metropolitan area. History The township was created in 1999 by the merger of the townships of Guelph and Eramosa, as well as parts of Pilkington and Nichol townships. Duncan Paul Munro
Duncan Paul Munro (September 25, 1896 – July 1, 1934) was a lawyer and political figure in Ontario. He represented Wellington South in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1931 to 1934 as a Liberal. He was born in Manitoba, the son of a minister in the Disciples of Christ Church, and came to Hamilton with his family. Munro moved to Guelph just before World War I. He served with the 29th Battery during the war. After the war, Munro studied at Osgoode Hall and joined a law firm in Guelph. He was elected to the assembly in a 1931 by-election held following the death of Lincoln Goldie.
