James Fitzedmund Fitzgerald
John Fitzedmund Fitzgerald (died 1589) was the hereditary Seneschal of Imokilly, an Irish nobleman of the Welsh-Norman FitzGerald dynasty in the province of Munster, who rebelled against the crown during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I of England. Fitzgerald was the son of Edmund Fitzmaurice Riskald and Shylie, daughter of Sir Maolrony McShane O'Carroll, lord of Ely O'Carroll in Éile), and the family's territory was in modern County Cork. James Edward FitzGerald (4 March 1818 – 2 August 1896) was a New Zealand politician. According to some historians, he should be considered the country's first premier, although a more conventional view is that neither he nor his successor (Thomas Forsaith) should properly be given that title. He was a notable campaigner for New Zealand self-governance. He was the first Superintendent of the Canterbury Province. Early life FitzGerald was born on 4 March 1818 in Bath, England. James FitzGerald (artist)
James Herbert FitzGerald (1910–1973) was an American sculptor from Seattle, Washington. He received a degree in architecture at University of Washington and worked at Spokane Art Center. He has been called " neof the Pacific Northwest's preeminent artists of isperiod", and "among the most innovative modern artists active in the Pacific Northwest." He was born and raised in Seattle, graduating from the University of Washington in 1935. FitzGerald went on to study at Yale University in 1938, where he received a Carnegie Graduate Fellowship, and at the Kansas City Art Institute. He created works for the Treasury Relief Art Project (TRAP) and the Department of Justice in the 1930s with Boardman Robinson; and worked on other Works Progress Administration art programs in Washington state. James Newbury FitzGerald (1837–1907) was an American bishop of the Methodist Episcopal Church, elected in 1888. Biography James Newbury FitzGerald was born at Newark, New Jersey on July 27, 1837. He received the degree of D. D. from Wesleyan University in 1880 and that of LL. D. from Hamline University in 1889. In 1895 he made the episcopal visitation to the South American and European conferences. He died at Hong Kong on April 4, 1907, on an episcopal visitation to the Oriental mission conferences. James Joyce Fitzgerald (December 1, 1921November 8, 1987) was an American racing driver. He is the winningest driver in Sports Car Club of America history, with over 350 career wins. Fitzgerald was also at one time the oldest driver to run a NASCAR Winston Cup Series race, being 65 years old when he ran in the 1987 Budweiser 400 at Riverside International Raceway for Hendrick Motorsports. Career Fitzgerald spent his early life as an engineer for Western Electric, specializing in missile systems, and began his racing career in 1957. Fitzgerald then ran Datsun 1500, 1600, 2000 Roadster, Datsun 1500 Roadsters, followed by a 2000 Roadster when competing in the SCCA National Championship Runoffs. Edgar James Fitzgerald (born April 30, 1965) is a former American football defensive back who played for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) in 1987. He played college football at Idaho State University. Early life and education Fitzgerald was born on April 30, 1965, in Spokane, Washington. He attended Gonzaga Preparatory School there, and was a member of their State AAA championship team. He later played college football for the Division I-AA Idaho State Bengals for two seasons. In his two seasons, Fitzgerald played as a defensive back and return specialist, and was described as a leader of the team's defense. James Fitzgerald (20 March 1862 – 24 June 1943) was a New Zealand cricketer and physician. He was one of the twins born at Pigeon Bay on Banks Peninsula in 1862; his father was the educationalist William Fitzgerald. He played two first-class matches for Otago between 1883 and 1885.
