James Findlay (Vancouver Mayor)
James Findlay (5 October 1854 – 19 October 1924) was the 15th mayor of Vancouver, British Columbia. Born in Montreal, he moved to Vancouver in June 1887. Findlay defeated incumbent Louis Taylor Louis Taylor (born May 12, 1979) is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the welterweight division of the Professional Fighters League. The newspaper is currently published by the Pacific Newspaper Group, a division of Postmedia Network. Published six days a week from Monday to Saturday, the ''Sun'' is the largest newspaper in western Canada by circulation. The newspaper was first published on 12 February 1912. The newspaper expanded in the early 20th century by acquiring other papers, such as the ''Daily News-Advertiser'' and ''The Evening World''.
