James Brown Craven
Archdeacon James Brown Craven (1850 – 17 April 1924) was author of the ''History of the Church in Orkney'' and several other works on ecclesiastical history. He was a founder and the first president of the Orkney Antiquarian Society. The son of Rev J E Craven, Free Church of Scotland minister at Newhills, near Aberdeen, he went to Orkney in 1876 to be rector of the newly built Episcopalian St.Olaf's Church in Kirkwall, and stayed there until his death. He was made Doctor of Divinity at Aberdeen University in 1908. Wings Over Africa
''Wings Over Africa'' is a 1936 British adventure film directed by Ladislao Vajda and starring Joan Gardner, Ian Colin, James Harcourt and James Carew. The film is a quota quickie produced for released by RKO.Chibnall p.292 It was shot at Shepperton Studios with sets designed by the art director Duncan Sutherland. The film score was created by composer Jack Beaver. Plot Explorer Tony Cooper and homesick trader Norton find a skeleton in the African jungle with a package intended to be delivered to Victor Wilkins in London. Cooper takes it there and it proves to be from Wilkins' brother - the skeleton was his - with a map showing where he left £100,000 in diamonds for Victor. Cooper agrees to accompany him to Africa and they hire pilots John Trevor and Carol Reed, who all agree to a cut of the profits. James Craven (born October 2, 1892 – June 29, 1955) was an American actor. He played a wide variety of roles and has a minimum of 98 film and television credits including the TV show ''The Adventures of Kit Carson'', as well as the classic motion picture, '' Johnny Belinda'', and the popular movie serials, '' The Green Archer'', ''Captain Midnight'' and ''King of the Rocket Men''. In his book, ''Serials-ly Speaking: Essays on Cliffhangers'' author William C.
