James Bush (politician)
James Drew Bush III (born February 13, 1955) is a Miami, Florida teacher and Democratic politician who served as the representative for District 109 of the Florida House of Representatives. He previously represented the same district from 1992 to 2000 and from 2008 to 2010. Representative Bush was born in Panama City, Florida on February 13, 1955. His wife, Bernadine Bush is from Buffalo, New York. He graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School in 1974. Cynthia A. Stafford (born July 11, 1967) is a Democratic politician and a former member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 109th District, which includes northeastern Miami-Dade County, from 2010 to 2018. History Stafford was born in Miami, and attended St. Thomas University, where she graduated with a degree in communication arts in 1993. She later graduated from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 1999, and later worked as an attorney. Stafford also worked for Congresswoman Carrie P. Meek as a legislative aide. A nova (plural novae or novas) is a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently "new" star (hence the name "nova", which is Latin for "new") that slowly fades over weeks or months. Causes of the dramatic appearance of a nova vary, depending on the circumstances of the two progenitor stars. All observed novae involve white dwarfs in close binary systems. The main sub-classes of novae are classical novae, recurrent novae (RNe), and dwarf novae. They are all considered to be cataclysmic variable stars. Classical nova eruptions are the most common type. The 2010 United States House of Representatives Elections in Florida were held on November 2, 2010 to determine who would represent the state of Florida in the United States House of Representatives. Representatives are elected for two-year terms; those elected served in the 112th Congress from January 2011 until January 2013. Florida had twenty-five seats in the House, apportioned according to the 2000 United States Census, but would soon gain two more congressional seats in 2012. A large majority of the incumbents sought re-election on November 2, and only the 12th district and the 17th district were open races. Upon the resignation of Robert Wexler, a special election was held in April to determine the new representative of 19th district.
