Jamerson Santos de Jesus (born 9 September 1998), known as Jamerson Bahia or just Jamerson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Coritiba. Personal life Jamerson was born in Salvador, Bahia, and lived with his mother Luciana, his younger brother Leonardo, his grandmother Conceição and his uncle Lionel. He lost his mother and his uncle when travelling to seek an opportunity, with his grandmother and his brother also passing away later on. John David Jamerson (born August 13, 1967) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Miami Heat in the first round (15th pick overall) of the 1990 NBA draft. Jamerson played for the Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz and New Jersey Nets in 3 NBA seasons. His best year as a pro came during the 1991-92 NBA season as a member of the Rockets, when he appeared in 48 games and averaged 4.0 ppg. He played collegiately at Ohio University, averaging 31.2 points per game a senior, finishing 2nd in the nation in scoring. In 1989, against the University of Charleston, he set a single-game record by draining fourteen 3-pointers and scoring 60 points in the Ohio victory. Douglas Lee "Tim" Jamerson, Jr. (October 16, 1947 – April 21, 2001) was a Florida Commissioner of Education. He was appointed to the position in 1993 after Betty Castor resigned to become President of the University of South Florida. He was defeated in his bid for a full term in 1994 by Frank Brogan. Jamerson grew up in the poor neighborhoods in St. Petersburg, Florida. He planned to attend Gibbs High School, but his grandmother encouraged him to go to Bishop Barry High School (now St. Petersburg Catholic High School) instead, where he was the school's first black student. Jamerson graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College and received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of South Florida. James Lee Jamerson (January 29, 1936 – August 2, 1983) was an American bass player. He was the uncredited bassist on most of the Motown Records hits in the 1960s and early 1970s (Motown did not list session musician credits on their releases until 1971), and is now regarded as one of the most influential bass players in modern music history. Charles Dewey "Lefty" Jamerson (January 26, 1900 – August 4, 1980) was a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball. Listed at 6' 1", 195 lb., he batted and threw left-handed. A native of Enfield, Illinois, Jamerson was a player whose major league career, statistically speaking, was only slightly different from that of Red Bluhm, Eddie Gaedel, or Moonlight Graham. On August 16, 1924, Jamerson pitched for the Boston Red Sox against the St. Louis Browns at Fenway Park. In one inning of work, he allowed two runs on one hit and three walks for an 18.00 earned run average. He did not have a decision. After that, he never appeared in a major league game again. Natrell Jamerson (born December 15, 1995) is an American professional football defensive back for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Wisconsin. Jamerson played wide receiver first with the Badgers before switching to cornerback and later safety. Jamerson has also been a member of a half dozen teams in the NFL: New Orleans Saints, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders.
