Jamaica national basketball team is governed by the Jamaica Basketball Association. The team had its best performance at the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship where it beat the two former world champions Brazil and Argentina. Outlook The team finished in seventh place in the 2006 Centrobasket with a 1-4 record. The lone victory was a 100-57 win over Costa Rica. In the 2010 Centrobasket, led by Roy Hibbert, they finished in fifth place with a record of 2–2. The 2012 Centrobasket saw them win their first medal (bronze). FIBA AmeriCup
The FIBA AmeriCup (previously known as the FIBA Americas Championship) is the Americas Basketball Championship that takes place every four years between national teams of the Western Hemisphere continents. Since FIBA organised the entire Western Hemisphere west of the Atlantic Ocean under one zone, countries from North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America compete in this tournament. Through the 2015 edition, the Americas Championship took place every two years, and was also a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Cup and the Summer Olympic Games. However, since 2017, the AmeriCup, along with all other FIBA continental championships for men are played once every four years. The Siena Saints men's basketball team (formerly the Siena Indians) represents Siena College in Loudonville, New York, United States. The NCAA Division I program competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and the annual Franciscan Cup. The Saints are currently coached by Carmen Maciariello. He was named the program's 18th head coach in school history on March 25, 2019. Siena plays its home games at the 14,500 all-seater MVP Arena in downtown Albany. The Tijuana Zonkeys are a Mexican professional basketball team based in Tijuana, Baja California. The Zonkeys are part of the Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacífico (CIBACOPA).
