Jalil Lespert
Jalil Lespert (born 11 May 1976) is a French actor, screenwriter and director. Life and career Born to an ethnic French (Pied-Noir) father, actor Jean Lespert, and an Algerian mother, who is an attorney and a jurist, Lespert first studied law, to please his mother. But he was more interested in acting. He married Sonia Rolland, a former Miss France, with whom he has one child named Kahina. He also has two other children, Jena and Aliosha, from a previous relationship. Lespert made his film debut in 1995, in Laurent Cantet's film '' Jeux de plage'', opposite his father. His first major role came in 1999, in Jacques Maillot's film '' Nos vies heureuses''. Robert Guédiguian
Robert Jules Guédiguian (born 3 December 1953) is a French film director, screenwriter, producer and actor. Most of his films star Ariane Ascaride and Jean-Pierre Darroussin. Life and career Guédiguian is the son of a German mother and an Armenian father, whose family immigrated to France in the early 20th century after the Armenian genocide. He evokes his paternal roots in his 2006 film ''Le Voyage en Armenie''. He has a working-class background, as his father is a worker on the Marseille docks. Yamina Benguigui
Yamina Benguigui (born Yamina Zora Belaïdi; in Lille on 9 April 1955) is a French film director and politician of Algerian descent. She is known for her films on gender issues in the North African (both Berbers and Arabs) immigrant community in France. Through her films, Benguigui gave a voice to many from the Maghrebi population in France. Life Benguigui's parents were Algerian and immigrated to France from Algeria in the early 1950s.
