Jakub Błaszczykowski
Jakub Błaszczykowski (; born 14 December 1985), also known as Kuba, is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Wisła Kraków, businessman and Wisła Kraków's part owner. He started his professional football at Wisła Kraków establishing himself at a young age. In 2007, he joined Borussia Dortmund, where he spent the majority of his career, making over 250 appearances and winning two Bundesliga titles, two DFL-Supercups, and one DFB-Pokal. Błaszczykowski was twice named Polish Footballer of the Year in 2008 and 2010. With 108 appearances, he is the second most capped player for Poland, and captained them as they co-hosted UEFA Euro 2012, while also appearing at UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Truskolasy, Silesian Voivodeship
Truskolasy is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wręczyca Wielka, within Kłobuck County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately west of Wręczyca Wielka, south-west of Kłobuck, and north of the regional capital Katowice. Between 1975 and 1998 Truskolasy belonged to Częstochowa Voivodeship. The ''Piłka Nożna'' Magazine Plebiscite ( pl, Plebiscyt Piłki Nożnej) is an annual plebiscite organized by the magazine journalists of '' Piłka Nożna'' (literally "Foot Ball"), the Polish football magazine. Participants choose the best player, best newcomer, best team, best coach and best foreign player in Polish football. The title of Polish Footballer of the Year has been awarded in Poland since 1973. The first player to be crowned was Kazimierz Deyna, midfielder for Legia Warsaw, while Mirosław Bulzacki was best newcomer. In 1982, Zbigniew Boniek became the first Polish footballer in a foreign club to receive this distinction. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Jerzy Józef Brzęczek (; born 18 March 1971) is a Polish professional football manager and former player. In a professional career which spanned nearly 20 years and brought 42 caps with the Poland national team, Brzęczek played for clubs in Poland, Austria and Israel. III liga (Trzecia liga) is a Polish football league that sits in the fourth tier of the Polish football league system.
