Jaklin Dencheva Zlatanova ( bg, Жаклин Денчева Златанова, born 25 September 1988) is a Bulgarian female basketball player currently competing for WBC Beroe in the Bulgarian League. Zlatanova is considered to be among the most talented athletes in the country which in the past used to be among the most successful nations in the European female basketball. Jaklin Zlatanova was born on 25 September 1988 in the capital Sofia, where she spent most of her childhood in the family with long-run basketball tradition. Jaklin Kornfilt
Jaklin Kornfilt is a theoretical linguist and professor at Syracuse University who is well known for her contributions to the fields of syntax, morphology, Turkish language and grammar, and Turkic language typology. Early life and education Kornfilt graduated from German High School in Istanbul, Turkey. She then graduated from Heidelberg University with a bachelor's degree in applied linguistics and translation studies in 1970. She obtained a Master of Arts degree in theoretical linguistics from Harvard University in 1980. She earned a PhD again in theoretical linguistics from the same university in 1985. Her PhD thesis was "Case Marking, Agreement, and Empty Categories in Turkish". Career After graduation, Kornfilt began to work as an instructor at Syracuse University in 1983. Jaklin Klugman
Jaklin Klugman (1977–1996) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. He was owned and bred in California by John Dominguez and actor Jack Klugman. He showed promise as a two-year-old, winning the California Breeders' Champion Stakes. At age three, after winning the California Derby at Golden Gate Fields in March, he raced in the Kentucky Derby. Ridden by Champion jockey Darrel McHargue in the 1980 Kentucky Derby, Jaklin Klugman ran third to winner Genuine Risk. That year, he also finished second in the then-Grade I Vosburgh Stakes and third in the Marlboro Cup Invitational Handicap before winning the Jerome Handicap and the Hawthorne Derby in the fall. Jaklin Çarkçı ( hy, Ժակլին Չարքչը, born 1958) is a mezzo-soprano of the Istanbul State Opera in Turkey. Life Born in Istanbul, Turkey to a family of Armenian descent, Jaklin was introduced to opera at an early age by her father, Jirayr Çarkçı, who was one of the first soloists of the Istanbul State Opera theater. She is a graduate of the Liceo Italiano school in Istanbul. Jaklin Çarkçı's career began with a 1988 debut as Azuncena in Giuseppe Verdi's Il trovatore at the Istanbul State Opera. Gertrud Hildegard Jaklin (April 6, 1916 in Vienna - December 9, 1998) was an Austrian lawyer and judge. Jaklin Alawi (born 28 December 1990) is a former professional tennis player from Bulgaria. Biography A right-handed player from Sofia, Alawi competed on the professional ITF circuit while a junior, from 2005 to 2008. Alawi featured in two ties for the Bulgaria Fed Cup team, against Great Britain and Poland in 2007, both times partnering Dessislava Mladenova. In 2009 she left the tour to play and attend college in the United States, first at Long Beach State, then the University of South Carolina.
