Jakki Brambles
Jackie Todd Brambles (previously Sherry-Brambles) (born 1 March 1967), formerly known as Jakki Brambles, is a British journalist, radio DJ and television presenter. Early life and early career Brambles was born in Harlow, Essex, England and grew up in Ayrshire, Scotland, where she went to secondary school at Ayr Academy in Fort Street, Ayr. She also began her radio career on local radio station West Sound in Ayr when she was 19. Career She joined Capital London in 1987 as its youngest DJ, and after a year on the evening show joined the BBC in 1988 as the first female presenter (same as Annie Nightingale & the late Janice Long) to get her own prime time show on the national pop network BBC Radio 1. Harlow
Harlow is a large town and local government district located in the west of Essex, England. Founded as a new town, it is situated on the border with Hertfordshire and London, Harlow occupies a large area of land on the south bank of the upper Stort Valley, which has been made navigable through other towns and features a canal section near its watermill. Kate Garraway
Kathryn Mary Draper Garraway (born 4 May 1967) is an English broadcaster and journalist. In the 1990s, Garraway was a journalist for ITV News Central and later a co-presenter of ITV News Meridian. From 2000 to 2010, she co-presented GMTV. Currently, Garraway is the presenter of ''Mid Mornings with Kate Garraway'' on Smooth Radio and newsreader (on Thursdays) and co-anchor (on Fridays) of the ITV Breakfast programme '' Good Morning Britain''. ''Nuts'' was a British lad's mag published weekly in the United Kingdom and sold every Tuesday. ''Nuts'' marketing campaign at its launch in 2004 used the slogan "When You Really Need Something Funny". The magazine closed in April 2014. Sector profile ''Nuts'' main rival magazine was ''Zoo'', another weekly, which was aimed at much the same demographic, 18–30-year-old men, and had similar content. However, since the start of the respective magazines, ''Nuts'' always outsold ''Zoo'', with the sales figures for the later half of 2013 showing a gap of nearly 25,000 copies per week. ''Simon Mayo Drivetime'', is the incarnation of the drivetime show on BBC Radio 2 between 11 January 2010 and 4 May 2018, being revived briefly for Mayo's final show with the station on 21 December that year, and then fully from 15 March 2021 on Greatest Hits Radio. It is broadcast on weekdays from 16:00 to 19:00 in the United Kingdom. It is presented by broadcaster Simon Mayo, who originally moved to BBC Radio 2's drivetime from his weekday afternoon show on BBC Radio 5 Live after Chris Evans moved to take over the Radio 2 Breakfast Show. STV (TV Channel)
STV is a Scottish free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the STV Group. It is made up of the Central Scotland and Northern Scotland Channel 3 public broadcaster licences, formerly known as Scottish Television (now legally STV Central Ltd) and Grampian Television (now legally STV North Ltd) respectively. The STV brand refers to the on-air name used by Scottish Television for much of its history - notably in the 1970s and early 1980s. ITV Breakfast Broadcasting Limited (previously known as GMTV Limited) is the national ITV breakfast television licensee, broadcasting in the United Kingdom. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of ITV plc in November 2009. The breakfast license runs daily from 6:00 am – 9:25 am. On weekdays, ''Lorraine'' runs through the franchise end time of 9:25am, when ITV Breakfast hands over control to the ITV Network (consisting of ITV and STV).
