Jakie Wellman
Jakie Kim Wellman (also ''Matana Wellman'', born July 22, 1988) is a Zambian swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. She is a high school graduate of Kelly College in Devon, England, and a member of the swimming team for the Missouri State Bears, while attending the Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, United States. Wellman qualified for the Swimming at the 2004 Summer Olympics – Women's 50 metre freestyle, women's 50 m freestyle, as a 16-year-old, at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by receiving a Universality place from FINA, in an entry time of 28.39. Swimming in heat four, she raced to fourth place by 0.13 of a second behind Aruba's Roshendra Vrolijk in 28.56. Wellman failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed fiftieth overall out of 75 swimmers on the last day of preliminaries. Roshendra Vrolijk
Roshendra Julienne Mercedes Vrolijk (born November 3, 1984) is an Aruban former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. She is one of Aruba's first Olympic swimmers, alongside Davy Bisslik, and also a two-time Olympian (2000 and 2004). Vrolijk made her Olympic debut, as Aruba's youngest athlete (aged 15), at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she competed in the women's 50 m freestyle. Swimming in heat three, she edged out Armenia's Yuliana Mikheeva to pick up a sixth seed and sixty-second overall by 0.49 of a second in 29.31. In 2003, Vrolijk competed in eight events at the Swimming at the 2003 World Aquatics Championships held in Barcelona, Spain, her highest finish out of her eight events was 42nd in the 200 metres breaststroke, and she won her heat in the 50 metres breaststroke but it still wasn't fast enough to qualify for the next round.
