Jake Reinhart is an American photographer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Life and work Reinhart has worked extensively in his native Pittsburgh. The resulting images have been featured online in ''Slate'' and exhibited at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center, and Silver Eye Center for Photography. Reinhart joined the board of Silver Eye Center for Photography in 2015. A photographer (the Greek language, Greek φῶς (''phos''), meaning "light", and γραφή (''graphê''), meaning "drawing, writing", together meaning "drawing with light") is a person who makes photographs. ''Slate'' is an online magazine that covers current affairs, politics, and culture in the United States. It was created in 1996 by former '' New Republic'' editor Michael Kinsley, initially under the ownership of Microsoft as part of MSN. Pittsburgh Filmmakers' School of Film, Photography, and Digital Media was a private institution of higher education located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was an accredited film school that was run by Pittsburgh Filmmakers, a well-known regional media arts center and non-profit organization. Academics Pittsburgh Filmmakers' School of Film, Photography, and Digital Media did not award any academic degrees. However, it did offer certificate programs in the areas of film production, digital video, and photography. London College of Creative Media (LCCM) is a private college of higher education in South London offering undergraduate degrees in music, writing, and music management; a postgraduate degree in creative entrepreneurship; and shorter courses in music performance and production. The International Center of Photography (ICP), at 79 Essex Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City, consists of a museum for photography and visual culture and a school offering an array of educational courses and programming.
